Eeeeeeek! I now have to clear up all the tea I’ve just spilled on my desk. :D

The interview is making it seem that Max is gone. They wanted to do this album in more of a 3-piece way. I’m gonna be honest, this makes me a bit sad.

    • Renee says :

+1 on feeling sad about that too. I mean, yay for new songs and etc., but I really loved what Max brought to their songs. (Plus, I’m still bitter that I never got to see Max do his pedal steel guitar thing on WAS songs)
      :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

      • Kerstin says :

I totally agree. about Max and the pedal steel. was so curious and I love that hawaiian touch on their acoustic songs. keith was talking so much about that pedal steel guitar, that I was convinced they’d do it. I wonder if this all has a teeny tiny bit to do with money…

      • miranda says :

I’m also curious as to what he added in the studio that he couldn’t have added on stage. Because I remember that video when they were all working on it. And weren’t they joking that there might be a little synth? I guess I’m mostly sad because I think he’s still an integral part. Oh well.

  4. Kerstin says :

so, Joanne. what are you trying to say? ;)
I wish I could go. but this is a bit too short of a notice. no money at the moment. the February is crazy this year with bands on tour. geez….

  5. Ruth says :

…and so it starts! I’m going to miss out on so much WAS-ness this year agian cos they’re going to be doing all these cool things in London and I’m too far away. I am wailing like a baby, waaaaaaa :-( Just hope they bring their proper tour up north again so I can at least see them once.

  6. Tracey says :
