More from Birmingham, Southampton, Brixton, and an interview with Chris

This review highlights Michael’s “debonair voice” during the encore. Nadia from Fat Amp Music also shared some additional pictures with me here:

Really positive review not only for W.A.S. but for Au Revoir Simone and Mates of State too.

Chris gives lots of advice to hopeful musicians out there along with telling us the best highlights of his year so far.

I found this little bit of news from someone’s blog:

We Are Scientists have come out in support of The Killers and want everyone to lay off their fellow Americans. The New York threesome were quick to jump to the defence of the Las Vegas band who have been taking much criticism for Sam’s Town. The Killers were named Best Rock Band at the MTV Europe awards last week. Keith said: “I don’t know about this ‘second album syndrome’ but I think their album is really strong. So everyone just lay off The Killers, OK?” Drummer Michael added: “We love The Killers, and we keep asking them if we can work with them. We’d do it for free!” To be fair, they’ve got a point. Besides the disturbing new attire ‘look’, i see Sam’s Town as a progression from HF and it is a grower.

And during today’s Youtube search of new W.A.S. videos, I found this one that made me laugh so hard:

There’s a couple of updates to the official site. There’s new ripoffs, teaser-pictures of the most-wanted W.A.S. sweater at the merch page, and the front page of the site has a picture of a really cute dog!
