NME Shockwaves Award show in two weeks, signings, and the tracklisting for the “After Hours” single

We Are Scientists to play intimate Shockwaves NME Awards Show
Acoustic show on the 20th of this month. Looks like it was a really hot ticket because it’s sold out now!

We Are Scientists @ hmv Glasgow Argyle
We Are Scientists will be performing a small live set and signing copies of their new single “After Hours'” at hmv Glasgow Argyle on Monday 3rd March at 6pm

There’s also a signing in Kingston on March 7- look it up at the Banquet Records site. (UK people- I’m guessing there might be more of these signings around the time the single and album comes out so don’t fret too much if a date hasn’t been announced in your city yet.)

“After Hours” will be release on CD and vinyl. The tracklistings are as follows:

CD

1. After Hours
2. Best Behaviour

Vinyl 7-inch #1 (Gatefold Sleeve)

Side A
1. After Hours
Side B
1. Dig Dug

Vinyl 7-inch #2 (One Sided Double Picture Disc)

  1. my guess is HMV is a first come first served…

i’ve been to signing in Edinburgh HMV where people didn’t even stick around to meet the band or get anythign signed…

  2. Yup, Liam, I know the single cover’s on Myspace. I’ve been waiting on getting a bigger copy of the one that’s on Myspace.

And Fiona, your guess is as good as mine about “Best Behaviour” being on the album. All we have to go by is that NME article from last month that says these songs are on the album:
    After Hours
    Chick Lit
    Lethal Enforcer
    Tonight, Tonight
    That’s What Counts

  3. If it’s a B-Side, I don’t think it’s gonna be on the album (unless the B-side is a demo).

Remember the really cool original version of I’m Your Villian (by Franz Ferdinand)? And it was supposed to be a B-side, but it never was… 😦

I’m really surprised that Best Behavior is a B-side, cuz I was sure that song would be a single. :s

  4. It’s a Franz Ferdinand song. The original version had this really neat intro, but they changed the intro for the album version, and supposedly the original version was going to be a B-side, but it never was.

    So no, not WAS.

  5. Some other in-store performances are now listed on the boys myspace. 🙂

Can’t wait to hear Best Behaviour in good quality. Shame it isn’t on the album.
